What We Believe

LOREM IPSUM DOLOR

LOREM IPSUM DOLOR

LOREM IPSUM DOLOR

LOREM IPSUM DOLOR

We  believe in God the Father Almighty as revealed in the life and teachings

of His only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ

God is One whose unity is expressed in the Trinitarian formula of the early Church - God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

The right of every Christian to have immediate access to God.

Jesus Christ alone is the Head of the Church; that His Holy Spirit can speakdirectly to and act through each member and each congregation without recourse to Moderators, Bishops or presbyteries.

Each Church or congregation is self-governing with duties and responsibilities shared equally by all members.

Churches work together in local, State and national associations, meeting for fellowship and for consideration of matters of general interest and common responsibility, but . . . such associations have no jurisdiction over indiviadual Churches.

A Congregational Church exists based on the teachings of Jesus as recorded in the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 18 : Verse 20. ". . . for where two or three are gathered together in my name I am there with them".

Congregational Christians believe that the human soul is eternal and that ourhuman destinylies in the choices we make and inour participation in the building of the Kingdomof God.

Our Churches observe two Sacraments - Baptism and Holy Communion.

The Bible is our rule and guide in matters of faith and practice. We accept that its authors were divinely inspired but they were mortal men who, from time to time, made mistakes as did some who later translated their writings, therefore we read and interpret the Bible guided by the Holy Spirit.

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth

and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord'

who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilatw; was crucified, died and buried:

He descended into Hell.

Onthe third day He rose from the dead.

He ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father, Almighty.

From there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic  (universal) Church, the com, union of saints, the foregiveness of sins'

the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
